The Team

Senior Village at Saddlebrooke, thrives on the strength of teamwork. It takes the dedicated efforts of many individuals to effectively run this organization. Together, we work diligently to ensure that our community is well supported and cared for.

Carol Kiker

Carol Kiker has been married to Ken Kiker for almost 56 years.  They have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.  When Carol is not busy with Senior Village, she spends time playing bridge with her friends.

Carol’s favorite pastime is visiting with  her adult children.  It is like seeing the best part of your life!  Their three children are Greg (lives in Gilbert and is the father of their three grandchildren), Kerry (living in Roswell, NM) and Kimberly from Vero Beach, FL.  Ken and Carol have resided in SaddleBrooke since January 15, 2005.

Greg Poling

Greg Poling is married to his incredible wife, Diane, who he met while attending Oregon State University. They have two amazing daughters, Haley and Tara. Greg has split his life between living in Oregon and Minnesota, ultimately moving to Saddlebrooke in 2020. What keeps Greg busy is his volunteer work with the Senior Village Board of Directors and Helping Hands team, all things DIY, playing competitive tennis, serving on the Recreation, Health and Wellness Committee for Saddlebrooke One and playing the drums for his church.

David Eisenhauer

David Eisenhauer has been a member of the Senior Village Board of Directors since May 2022.  He has been married to Marjorie for 58 years and they have a daughter and a son, plus 3 adult granddaughters.  David is a US Army veteran whose working career was in various senior management positions at credit unions, primarily in California.  David & Marjorie grew up in downstate Illinois but lived in California for 25 years before moving to SaddleBrooke in 2002.  When not volunteering, David will probably be enjoying travels throughout the world.

Kurt McMillen

Kurt McMillen is married to the stunning Cheryl McMillen.  Kurt and Cheryl have four children who live across the country (Rhode Island, Idaho, Arizona and California).  Kurt cannot stay retired; he is motivated by participating in organizations that add significant value to the quality of life of others (Senior Village; SaddleBrooke CycleMasters; Catalina Mountains Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America; Red Cross).  He still has time for his other favorites, though:  Hiking in the desert, listening to old rock and roll music, and travelling with Cheryl to unique locations around the world (Example:  Uzbekistan!).

John O'Brien

John was born and raised in Texas, but has lived in 9 different locations, including grad school in Phoenix. He and Anne, his wife of 57 years have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren, including a 6 year-old granddaughter living in Oro Valley. In addition to daily walks, John enjoys hiking, metalsmithing, reading and visiting historic sites in Arizona and New Mexico. He speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese and loves giving back to the Saddlebrooke community by serving on the Senior Village board.

Bonnie Westra

Bonnie has lived in SaddleBrooke for 15 years, retiring from the University of Minnesota where she taught nursing informatics (computer stuff).  She is an avid golfer and loves to use her computer talent with volunteer activities including Senior Village Dispatch, Unit 21 phonebook and listserv, and golf league website and communications.

David Bull

David moved to SaddleBrooke 15 years ago from Connecticut, where family still resides, including 5 children/stepchildren, 7 grands and 3 GGC. He’s a US Navy Vet (LTJG), and a retired trial attorney. He is/has been active in SB organizations, including military officers group, pet rescue, health fair, ALC, public affairs comm., and is host of Men’s Social Hour.

Mardie Toney

Mardie is married to Chris Toney and they have 2 daughters who, with their husbands and 2 sons each, also live in Tucson.  Mardie was born and raised in southeast Colorado before moving to Alabama, Virginia and then to SaddleBrooke 20 years ago.  She enjoys walking, golfing, watching sports on TV and spending time with the family.  Senior Village remains a priority for her.
