June Music Matinee Presents Sonoran Sisters

We will celebrate flag day and the 250th anniversary of America with a special program celebrating the songs of WWI. Sylvia Munsen will share a PowerPoint presentation including about 200 songs in her collection following the history of “the Great War.” The program will feature The Sonoran Sisters, a trio styled after the Andrews Sisters, who will sing many of those songs including some re-popularized in WWII. Enjoy learning about the history of WWI and singing along with many well-known songs including “Over There,” “For Me and My Gal,” and “Oh How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning.”
