Every resident should have one of these! If you are unable to open the door when 911 responders show up, they may have to break down a door or smash a window to gain entry. A house key in the secure lockbox outside your front door (that ONLY first responders can access) will enable them to enter quickly and lock up on the way out. You can also leave a note for the care of pets if you are taken to the hospital. A folder for medical records (allergies, prescriptions, etc.) is also provided to affix to the refrigerator.

*** Important Notice:  Senior Village is unable to predict the availability of lockboxes due to supply issues with the Golder Ranch Fire District’s selected supplier, Kidde.  For that reason, all requests for lock boxes are delayed and a waitlist has been started.  You may place a request with Senior Village, but you must expect a significant delay.

To order a lockbox, please follow these directions:

  1. Call Senior Village at (520) 240-0149 and leave a message requesting a lockbox.

  2. A volunteer team member will call you and arrange for delivery.

  3. Please make a check for $60.00 payable to “Senior Village at SaddleBrooke”. (Cash and credit cards are not accepted.)

  4. At the time of delivery, an instructional flyer will be included to arrange for free installation by a Senior Village Volunteer. The lockbox will be installed next to the front door in plain sight for first responders’ easy access.

  5. Once the lockbox is installed, you will contact Golder Ranch Fire District to request your spare key be inserted into the lockbox. Once installed, the box may only be opened by authorized fire district personnel.
